Hi there. My name is Mike Stefanik. I live in Austin, and I'm the creator of the Austin Events wall calendar.

The calendar started back in the 1900s as a spreadsheet I kept to track events I kept missing. After years of friends asking for copies, it became a commercial wall calendar product in 2006.

Unlike almost all other sources of things to do, the calendar is ad-free. None of the activities or events paid for inclusion - they're all chosen because they're genuinely worth experiencing.

I'm lucky to work with a great bunch of people on this project, many of whom have been collaborating with me for years. Together we photograph Austin, research events, and create something we hope helps Austinites (and visitors) discover the best of what this city has to offer.

Beyond the Austin calendar, I also run Christmas-Events-Near-Me.com and write about interesting experiences at IRLXD.com.
